Duplex Cottages offered: Two Standard Duplex Cottages- (2 Bedroom space/5 guests max/4 guests base/with window view/for both standard cottages) Each Standard Cottage features two cozy bedrooms with Queen-size beds, attached washroom, and large windows that frame breathtaking valley views. These cottages are designed for comfort and simplicity, providing a warm and inviting atmosphere. ------ Premium Duplex Cottage- (2 Bedroom space/5 guests max/4 guests base/with balcony view.) The Premium Cottage offers a more spacious layout, complete with two beautifully appointed bedrooms, attached bathrooms, and a separate private balcony. You can also take a full day hike to Bashleo Pass which is 10 km from Bathad Village, it will take you around 7-8 hours to complete this hike. ------------- To reach here: Local cabs are the best way to explore certain nearby attractions, and we can assist you in arranging one. The nearest airport is in Bhuntar, Kullu, which is about a two-hour drive away. Alternatively, you can take an overnight luxury bus to Aut, which is around 90 minutes from us. You can catch a Delhi-Manali bus and get off at Aut, just after the tunnel. HPTDC operates convenient and comfortable buses from Mandi House in Delhi. If you prefer to drive, the journey takes approximately 12 hours, covering a distance of 505 km from Delhi to Bathad. The route is as follows: Delhi → Karnal → Ambala → Banur → Kharar → Ropar → Kiratpur → Swarghat → Bilaspur → Mandi → Pandoh → Aut (don’t go through the tunnel, instead turn right towards Larji) → Bali Chowki → Sai Ropa → Gushaini → Tung → Bathad. From Bathad, a 2-km dirt track will lead you to Obvallata Lotus Cottage in the village of Galihar.

Guests enjoy private access to the rooms and shared facilities of the homestay, which includes in-house restaurant and common outdoor areas such as the front and back gardens, bonfire and BBQ zones, and secure parking space.

-Check-in: 1:00 PM | Check-out: 11:00 AM -All guests must share valid government-issued ID proofs before arrival. -Smoking is strictly prohibited indoors. -Guests are responsible for any damage during their stay. -All Rooms: Good quality double-quilts for each bed. -Alternate heating arrangements provided during winters. -Please help us keep the area clean by disposing of garbage responsibly and minimizing plastic usage during your stay. -Use of washing machine ,available on request. -Two duplex cottages does not have a private balcony -Please reach out to the property prior to your arrival. -This listing is a part of the entire property. -Guests are required to climb few stairs to reach the property. -Guests are not permitted to bring outsiders inside the cottage. -Smoking & drinking not allowed inside the rooms. -Onsite parking is available for 6–7 cars only. -Quiet hours are enforced from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM. -Outside food is not allowed to maintain hygiene and quality standards.-----Wi-Fi is available in public areas; however, connectivity inside rooms may be intermittent. -Pets are allowed; however, they must be kept in a separate cage and are not permitted in the room spaces. -Additional charges apply for pet food and cleaning. -No extra mattresses provided for past 12 guests limit. -Helper/Driver's stay could be arranged. -Experiences Provided- trout fishing , village tours , treks , national parks. -Property has a Inverter, min backup 3 hours. -Board games provided : carrom , card , chess , ludo . -No Loud music is prohibited after 10:00 PM by government rules. Low-volume indoor music is allowed provided it does not disturb others or local wildlife. --------------- {Kitchen & Dinning} : -Bonfire arrangements are available on request at extra charges, INR 500–700. -The in-house restaurant operates on an ala carte basis with thali options (veg thali: INR 300–350, non-veg extra). -Kitchen access for extended meal preparation is chargeable. -Room service for full meals is not available; only snacks may be taken to the room. -We serve both veg and non veg food. You can order your food as per the menu. -Room service for meals i.e. breakfast / lunch / dinner is not available in the cottage.Just hop down into our cozy dining room to enjoy your meal. -Kitchen Timings:- Morning - 08:30 Am to 10:30 am Evening - 05:00 pm to 10:00 pm -Guests be given fresh mountain stream water, which is available all the time for drinking needs. If you needed mineral water bottles then its charges will be extra. -Cooking access provided for Infant meal preparations. -Caretaker/staffs be assisting with getting groceries. -------------- {Accessibility}: -Please note that the property is located in a truly offbeat and serene location, away from the hustle and bustle of towns or markets. As such, there are no cafes, restaurants, or shops in the immediate vicinity—only a few local village homes. However, we’re happy to provide essential items upon request to ensure a comfortable stay. -Nearby taxi and cab services, as well as pick-up/drop-off services, can be arranged on request. Car/bike hire services are available. -The best mobile network in the area are Airtel & BSNL. -------------- {Location}: • This stay is nestled deep within the serene Tirthan Valley, near the peaceful village of Ghaliyad—approximately 12 km beyond the popular center of Gushaini. The journey includes a scenic 10 km drive on a well-paved road up to Bathad Village, followed by a final 2 km stretch on a dirt road that can be a bit bumpy. While this last leg of the drive might feel adventurous, it’s short and manageable—and it leads you to a truly special destination. • This property is located at a secluded place where you can only hear the sound birds and the river. • Easy access to the river and nearby village. • You must keep in mind that the last two kilometers to the cottage is a dirt track. Also we only get BSNL cell service. Do keep in mind that this is a remote valley. • The valley has quite a reputation for trout fishing and you could try your hand at the beautiful sport of fly fishing. ------------ {The Property & Rooms }: •For two standard duplex cottages , there is no balcony but a cozy sitting area will be there adjacent to the entrance with river and the mountain view. -------------- {Surroundings}: • You can admire the beauty of this place during the day by spending time in this tranquil place near the river. There is also an outside seating area and a fire pit. At night, you can light a fire in the outside seating area and gaze at the stars under the open sky. • You are staying in a property which is very close to the river. Your stay is absolutely safe. If you want to spend your time near the river, please go only till the edge of the the river. • Please do not go in the middle of the river as the flow of the river is fast and there is also a danger of slipping. The water level of mountain rivers can rise at any time. -------------- {For extremely cold months of operation }: -During extreme cold, temperatures can drop below subzero, causing water in the running taps to freeze.
